The first update to the app is the ability to upload your own thumbnails for videos directly from the app on your mobile device. To do that, edit your video, click “edit thumbnail”, and then click “custom thumbnail”. From there you can upload an image from your camera roll on your phone.
One of the most interesting features of the YouTube Studio app is it’s analytics insight cards. These are personalized messages that appear in your analytics section of the app. They will alert you to interesting stats and suggest ways you can grow your channel. YouTube will be working on adding more of these insights in the app very soon.
The first big update to the YouTube Studio app is the ability to schedule posts directly from the app. You can now schedule the time, date, and privacy settings of a new video while using the mobile app.
Along with these updates, YouTube is planning on rolling out more features in the coming months. Some of these features will include the ability to use creator hearts and pin comments directly from the app. YouTube will also add a total subscriber count to the top of the dashboard while you are logged into the app. This will make it easier for you to see your subscriber growth right when you open the app.
