At Quarterlab, we always do our best to keep our clients up to date on the latest features for YouTube and other platforms. Today, we're sharing one of the latest features YouTube is rolling out on their Studio Mobile app. Copyright actions like viewing, disputing, and appealing Content ID claims can now be performed in the app instead of having to use the web platform. Also within the app, audio that you don't own can also be muted to avoid conflicts on content that you do not have the rights for.
These improvements will be available to all users in the coming weeks. YouTube also announced they're working on even more copyright related flows that will be added to the mobile app. Features like trimming out claimed content from your video and filing a counter notification in response to a takedown to the app are a couple of the features mentioned.
For more information on Content ID claims and disputes, please click here to watch an video from YouTube on these topics. We'll make sure to update you as YouTube brings new features to their platform. Always feel free to reach out to us with any questions you have on these new features!
