Grow You Audience on Meta

Grow You Audience on Meta

There are a couple of exciting new updates from Meta (Instagram, Facebook, and Threads) that can help you expand your reach and grow your audience across platforms. In this post, we'll break down each update, share all the details, and explain how you can make the most of them in your next post.

First up, let’s talk about Trial Reels, a fantastic tool for testing new or experimental content on Instagram Reels. Let’s say you're a musician with a dedicated fanbase on Instagram. As soon as you post, your core audience is watching and interacting, but it can be hard to tell how many new users are discovering your Reel.

With Trial Reels, you can post a Reel that is only viewable by non-followers. This allows you to see how your content performs outside of your existing audience. If the results are promising, you can officially post the Reel, keeping all the traction it has already gained while now sharing it with your followers.

We believe Trial Reels could be a great way to experiment with new content and reach fresh audiences. To get started, simply post a Reel and toggle the ‘Trial’ slider.

Next, Meta is making it easier to crosspost content across their platforms with some new features designed to improve content liquidity. If you're already posting Reels consistently to Facebook, why not share them on Instagram too? Now, with Meta's updated crossposting tools, you can easily grow both audiences at the same time.

If you’re actively posting on Instagram, follow these simple steps to enable crossposting to Facebook:

  1. Go to your profile and tap the three lines in the top right corner.
  2. Tap Crossposting.
  3. For some accounts, you’ll need to tap Crosspost to Facebook Page.
  4. In the cross-posting settings, turn on the toggle to enable crossposting for specific post types (stories, posts, or Reels).
  5. Once crossposting is enabled, an admin can post from the Instagram creator or business account to the Facebook Page from any device. You can also find or update your crossposting settings here.

Alternatively, if you're posting on Facebook and want to share your content on Instagram:

  1. From your Feed, tap Menu in the bottom right corner.
  2. Tap Settings and Privacy.
  3. Tap Accounts Center.
  4. Tap Sharing across profiles, then select your Facebook account.
  5. Next to Your Facebook Reels, toggle it on. If this is the first time sharing Reels, tap Set up.
  6. Tap Share Reels to Instagram.

For more information on setting up crossposting to Threads, we recommend checking out Meta’s setup guide here.

Crossposting is a powerful way to expand your audience and build a more diverse community across multiple platforms. With these new features making it easier than ever, now’s the perfect time to get started. You may be surprised by the results!

We’re excited to see how you use these new tools, and as always, we’ll keep you updated on all the important Meta news. If you have any questions about these updates or anything else related to Meta, feel free to contact us.
