Merchbar is the second official YouTube merchandise partner, alongside Teespring which we covered last year. With this partnership, viewers watching videos on Official Artist Channels can now see a shelf with the artist's own branded merchandise and click through to the artist’s merchandise on Merchbar’s website.
Through Merchbar, artists will be able to sell a variety of merchandise items, including: shirts, hoodies, jackets, vinyl records, and CDs. Artists will also be able to sell different accessories like wristbands, necklaces, stickers, calendars, socks, keychains, mugs and more.
The Merchbar shelf will display below videos on both mobile and desktop, and will begin rolling out in the U.S. first. Eligible artists with an Official Artist Channel and a Merchbar store with U.S. fulfillment enabled can sign up for the merch shelf in YouTube Studio. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions about this new feature on YouTube.
