Over the past couple of years, YouTubers have found great success using multi-language audio tracks, which allow you to upload translated audio to your videos. Until now, this process has required extra resources, careful planning, and precise execution. But with the release of YouTube's new Automatic Dubbing feature, reaching new audiences just got a whole lot easier.
For years, creators built separate channels to showcase their content in different languages. That changed when YouTube introduced multi-language audio tracks, letting viewers switch languages on the same video with a single click. It was a major step forward, making it possible for global audiences to engage with a single piece of content.

Still, the feature had limitations. Creators needed to provide their own dubbed audio, which often meant hiring voice actors or translators—a process that could be both complicated and expensive. YouTube’s latest update aims to solve this with Auto-Dubbing. When enabled, this feature uses AI to automatically dub your videos into:
French - German - Hindi - Indonesian- Italian - Japanese - Portuguese - Spanish
This not only makes your content more accessible to existing viewers who speak other languages, but it also introduces your videos to entirely new markets. For example, if your video is dubbed in German, it has a better chance of being recommended to German-speaking users. YouTube even adds a new 'Dubbed' tab under your video, which can help increase clicks and global visibility.

This feature is currently rolling out to all creators in the YouTube Partner Program. While the quality and performance of the AI dubbing are still being evaluated, it's an exciting development that could give creators a huge advantage.
To enable Auto-Dubbing, head to YouTube Creator Studio > Settings > Upload Defaults > Advanced Settings > and turn on the Automatic Dubbing option.

We're excited to see how this feature evolves and the impact it could have on content performance worldwide. If you have any questions about this or anything else YouTube-related, feel free to reach out!
