The YouTube Space LA team is offering some new tools and resources to help creators stay active and creative on their channels during the COVID-19 pandemic. These new tools and resources are available for anyone who has unlocked a YouTube Space. Continue reading for more details.
Even though the YouTube Spaces are currently closed, creators with access to these Spaces can still utilize a number of features to help them consistently create and publish videos on their channels. First of which are updated virtual production & post-production office hours. These office hours let creators connect virtually with YouTube’s Tech Cage team to address any technical and creative questions.
There are also a number of new virtual workshops being offered in the coming weeks. You can see a full schedule of workshops here, but topics will include live streaming, at home production tips, and more. In addition to the virtual workshops and virtual office hours, the YouTube Space LA team is also offering some gear discount codes to help with your production set up. You can find out more about these discounts here. The YouTube Space LA team has also teamed up with Adobe to provide valuable tips and tricks for post production. They will be doing a live stream every Tuesday, and eligible creators can get a reminder for that live stream here.
If you have access to YouTube's New York Space, we wrote about some free online training classes you can attend, so check out that blog for more details. We’ll continue to provide updates on any new tools and resources to help creators during this time, and as always feel free to reach out with any questions.
