YouTube is expanding its Community feature, now allowing your subscribers to post their own text and photos alongside your posts. This means your audience can start discussions, share their thoughts, and engage with each other in a more interactive way, turning your Community tab into a true hub for conversation rather than just a place for you to post.

This update gives you new ways to connect with your fans. Instead of just posting updates and getting replies, your audience can now actively participate, making your Community tab more dynamic. More discussions, deeper connections, and fan-generated content can help strengthen the relationship between you and your subscribers.
A more engaged Community tab also means your audience has a reason to keep coming back, even when you’re not posting new videos. It’s a great opportunity to keep engagement high, gather feedback, and encourage discussions that build a stronger fan base.

Right now, access to Communities is invite-only. You’ll receive an email and a banner notification at the bottom of the homepage on the YT Studio App. Once invited, you can go to “Go to Community” to learn more and enable the feature.
